This past weekend, a couple of my sisters families and us headed to a nearby park to get some family pictures. Kelly has a great camera and proved that his photography skills are far better than mine. I like to hurry and point and shoot. My pictures are blurry and off kilter, occasionally missing key things, such as parts of people's faces. Maybe one day someone might appreciate my efforts as some abstract art form but for now when shooting family portraits I'd best leave them to Kelly and his precision. :)

Don't be hard on yourself, I think it kinda runs in the family to have some photo skills for Kelly.
We also attempted outside pics recently. We got to the spot and were determined to brave the cold when the wind kicked up too. So, we ended up in the studio. The bummer was that when I saw the few quick attempts that we tried before giving up, I actually liked them but they were overexposed by the sun- since we weren't really trying. So, next year that is our spot and exactly what I want. For this year- it's studio pics- not my fav so lucky I have some cute kids:)

I love the pictures! You are so good to get those done every year. We haven't had a family picture for 3 years. Your choice of clothing was great. For me that's the hardest part. By the way you look great in all the pictures.

These are great and I recognize the park! Kelly does great with a camera but the subject was what made them great
