It's been awhile since I've posted anything on my blog. What's the world coming to when I have nothing to say? The planets must be aligned
strangely or something, because me and quiet have never coexisted together! There have been no sparks of creativity, no embarrassing moments, and I am behind on my postings and pictures about my kids! I want something to blame for this. It must be the winter blahs! Something is magical about snow at Christmas
time but come January its lost all it's sparkle. I am ready for sunshine, but not ready enough to think about yard work yet.
Everyone is doing well here. Ryan has decided to go to Southern Utah University next fall and study Chemistry. He didn't get science brains from me. He earned a full scholarship and has worked so hard, so I am going to brag about him a bit. He is taking a bunch of AP science classes and loving them and still hating English. I love to sit and talk with him and still freak out at the thought of him leaving me in not so many months!
Josh has moved on to his second favorite sport which is basketball. He loves to play and he is so fun to watch. Man that kid can jump! I will post pictures soon. He has surpassed Ry in height but only by a
smidgen. He is doing great in school also and getting ready to turn 16 in six weeks! He is looking forward to spring when he can get back on the golf course again.
Cassidy is doing well in 7
th grade and loving
YW. She is still fun to shop with and her and I are half way through memorizing "The Living Christ" for her Personal Progress. She is going to start and Irish Dance class at the end of the month so I will have to report on that soon. She got a cell phone for Christmas and has turned into a
texting machine!
Mark is loving 3rd grade, and I have fun helping in his class. It's so great to still have a child that runs up to you and gives you hugs when you visit at school! He is playing basketball for his first season and having fun learning a new skill. He still gives me grief about doing his homework, but is so kind and giving to everyone in our home.
That is a quick update about life at our house. Hopefully soon I will get out of this winter rut and do more than I have been lately.
